Together they journey through nightmarish places, a desert Necropolis watched over by a colossal doll, a sprawling Candy Factory, a sinister traveling Carnevale, and a decaying overgrown Institute, each stalked by grotesque, towering monsters. Relying on Low's bow and Alone's wrench, the pair must solve the dangers of each realm and stay one step ahead of the horrors pursuing them as they search for a way out.
